Finally got to see Diana Krall in concert (bluray) after hearing so many of her CDs. She's prettier on the video than on her CD covers. The picture is sharp, with lighting effect which brings out the right mood and perfectly compliments her songs. Great husky and sexy voice beautifully captured and replicated with a quality system. Overall, a very satisfactory experience the next best thing to being there live. Highly recommended!!!
I loved Live in Paris and I have all of her CDs. This DVD is not up to the quality of the other recordings (both video and audio) that she has released previously. The quality of the performance was not up to par and she should not have released this video because it is not up to the quality of the others.
Disappointed. I watched it once and probably will not watch it again. Conversely, I have watched the Live in Paris DVD at least 7 or 8 times.
Not recommended.
Diana Krall is very talented and a pleasure to watch perform, 2 hours of music in concert. She sings the songs in a sultry, sexy, manner that will make you fall in love with her.
Diana is simply the best. Jeff Hamilton keeps it all together on drums and John Clayton is as solid as a rock on bass. Anthony Wilson swings his butt off throughout on Guitar. An amazing concert...
