Watch Season 1 Episode 1, and you'll be hooked.

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I hadn't watched the shows on TV, but when I saw season 1 episode 1 at my daughter's, I was hooked. I swear, never has a show grabbed my attention and made me want to see more, than it did. I am addicted to Dexter now, and avidly await season 6 to start. So, what do you do when you're hooked on a show, well you get your friends to watch it, of course. I've hooked a few more people on Dexter. How can you dislike one of the nicest men ever portrayed, who just happens to be a serial killer that works for the Miami police department? Especially since he only kills killers who escaped a sentence on technicalities. Dexter is very entertaining, the characters are real and I quickly became involved with them, with their lives. It touches all of my emotions. Be entertained, become an avid fan, and most of all, kick back and relax with Dexter, his Sister Deborah, and the rest of a really great cast. I love Rita and her kids, and I will not post a spoiler. Just be sure to watch them in order.

You won't want to stop after one episode, or one season!

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Dexter is one of my favorite shows. It's sick and wrong, and you can't help but feel like a psycho when you find you are rooting for a bad guy. He's not a complete bad guy (I mean, he does kill the really bad guys who fall through the cracks), but he is a serial killer. So, when you find yourself hoping he "gets away with it," you find yourself wondering "Holy CRAP! What kind of person am I?"

The complexity of the dynamics that molded Dexter make you feel less compelled to feel guilty. The big debate is: Was Dexter the Serial Killer molded by the event or by the life after the event? I can't give more information than that. If you haven't seen it, you just might love it! My mother refused to watch it because she thought it was stupid to cheer for the "bad guy." Then she got sucked into an episode, and what do you know? Now she's hooked, too! (She watched the first 3 seasons over the Labor Day weekend.)

Give it a shot, you won't regret it.

Has you question your own morality

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

The premise of Dexter (The FBI agent commits murders, but does not ever get caught because he knows what the investigators will be looking for) sounds initially a boring story plot, however then you get sucked in and realize how many ways to go about it and realize that, although it probably wouldn't work in real life, it works perfectly as a show's premise.
WDexter was 4 when his father taught him to kill, but instilled the point that the victim must DESERVE it... He must be "evil" or bad guy of sorts
The first three seasons are, in effect, the first half of the entire length of the show (currently in its 5th season, ending next year with the sixth). They are pretty much individual of themselves...as long as you have seen episode 1, you can pretty much laze through the episodes in any order at your leisure.
Season 4 is the search for the Trinity Killer. You will never look at John Lithgow the same way again (not a spoiler, his identity is given by the end of s4e2). YOU know who he is, before long Dexter knows who he is, but Miami Metro doesn't catch on for awhile. Overall a great show and it never gets tired and old. The subplots are just as exciting as the main. Cant wait to see more.

Dexter

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Loved it. Dexter is a great show. Seller sold it to me in perfect condition.
Meet Dexter Morgan. By day he's a blood spatter pattern expert for the Miami Metro police department. But by night - he takes on an entirely different persona: serial killer. But Dexter isn't your average serial killer as he only kills people who fit a very prolific and precise "moral code" taught to him by his late father Harry (he didn't kill Harry, honest), and developed very thoroughly throughout each kill. While dealing with his daily activities and his boss, Sgt. Doakes, the one man who may or may not know the truth about his after-hours activities, he is given a friendly message by a guy referred to only as "The Ice Truck Killer" - a crime scene where there is no blood. This shocking discovery turns Dexter's world completely upside down. The Ice Truck Killer wants Dexter to play his game and Dexter is very eager to take on this cat-and-mouse chase throughout Miami.

Fun exciting if you havn't seen an episode of Dexter you have been missing

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Well written story, a strong cast, plenty of suspense and also a laugh or two. Dexter is the definition of "grey" in a black and white world. The show has that "IT" factor, I watched the first episode a couple of times and was hooked. I couldn't root for a more evil-messed up hero. Showtime has edgy shows of course and Dexter is no different, the women in the show usually have plenty of substinence and are not just "eye" candy.
