|Featuring 7 HDMI inputs, the AVR-4311CI is also equipped with Denon's high resolution video processor, which accepts standard definition video sources and upconverts them to 1080p HDMI. The HDMI 1.4a standard is supported, which provides 3D pass-through (Blu-ray and Broadcast), and also supports Audio Return Channel. The HDMI upconversion allows for a single HDMI cable run to the TV, avoiding the expense and hassle of multiple cable runs, and there are 2 HDMI outputs for even more configuration flexibility. The AVR-4311CI features a full suite of the high resolution audio decoders, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. It also comes equipped with Audyssey's DSX surround processor, which derives front height and front width channels for a dramatically expanded front soundstage. The Power Amp Assign function lets you specify the precise amplifier and speaker configuration that's right for your home theater setup, and there's also a special Pre-Amp only mode that completely disables the internal power amplifiers.|

hey people out there , i'd would like to speak my mind about how well the people are and the person i share my first Ebay experience with !!! at first i was un-sure of the out come with e-bay would be and held my breath.... when first i thought of how the economy is , knowing that i had dream of
owning a Denon and saved up bonus checks , birthday money and residual change from here and there for two year to do this...when i receive the denon avr stereo receiver it was clean, clean, claen , cleann!!!! and came to me likeit was brand new!!! every idom that come with it origally was with it and it even came in its original box from the factory !!! the deon works and sounds better than i had every amagined the neibhor in my apartment building saw me in the hall was and asked me what is this new sound they hear and where is it coming from? i said it my new denon stereo!!! .. sure i was scared like most of you might be thinking the same way right now , a new way to buy a personal gift for yourself having not every gone the ebay way in getting what you want. that is why i'm here to tell you, ''no guts no glory '' so man up and just do it!!! you'll be happy you did :-)
Firstly I would like to say, this receiver is amazing. I really have nothing bad to say about it. Denon really have packed all the goodies into this one with 9 powerfull and fully asignable channels, HDMI, 4 zones, Auto room setup with dual subwoofer outputs and even two remotes for multi room automation. Playing my favorite movies was hauntingly realistic and makes me want to watch them all all over again! (I have over 500 DVDs) In short Denon has a cracker receiver.
Needed to upgrade my whole house system to HDMI components, this was the upgraded AVR to my 8 year old Denon AVR. Excellent price compared to what I paid 8 years ago, smaller foot print and easily switched out. I didn't compare other manufacturers as I've had Denon in my house systems since 1990. Well made product, excellent performance and compatible with all my components.
All I've done is take a look at it. So many things to buy & so little time, especially w/o money. If I won a "Lotto", I'd be hit by lightning first, then I'd think about it, if I were alive. To be truthful, I'd say buy a Denon If money we're available, Now, $1,000.00 dollars is a lot of bucks so, for now, the company is havin' to keep it on their shelves. So there ya go, someone send me the money & I'll buy one, OK?
Nice receiver with outstanding performance for music and movies. Delivering clean signal with enough detail to satisfy my needs.
