This model is 8 years old but you can still find some brand new on ebay.
This is the best and most user friendly model xm has marketed.
The one I bought BRAND NEW from cartoyz00 on ebay is an over the road edition for truck drivers.
It was complete with a mirror mount for the magnetic base antenna,
Also a genuine PANAVISE suction cup mount which can be used in either cars or trucks or easily disassembled to mount to your dash or whatever clip you wish to fasten it to.
It came with a cigar lighter power supply with builtin fm transmiter with ten different frequencies you can use for a wireless hookup to existing fm radio or you can use an aux input 3.5mm patch cord for a better quality wired connection.
You can buy an ac adapter from radidio shacck for about $8.00 to power it in your house or hotel room and patch it into your home stereo system.
You can find adapter boom boxes here on ebay to take this xm tuner to the beach or campsite.
XM is so so so much better than the few crappy local channels you get on fm or hd. BTW: HD means "HARDLY DIFFERENT". XM gives you hundreds of channels so you can listen only to EXACTLY what you want to hear without all the stupid commercials.
They offer EVERY GENRE of nusic from 1940 thru today as well as all kinds of talk channels and information channels. If it was ever on the radio anywhere you will find it on XM.

) I was very pleased with the XM radio, but didn't realize that I also needed another adapter kit to use it in my home, which was my main purpose for the purchase. I bought a new vehicle with XM included and wanted to be able to enjoy it at home or away from home if I'm traveling. I was able to find the home kit on ebay, also, and now am enjoying using it. The seller was helpful in telling me what else I needed to get.

I purchased this receiver because DELPHI stopped making this unit and I have several cars and a home system that use it. The person that supplied it did a very good job of getting it to me and it was in very good shape. I would do bussness with this person any time
