Dell Mini 10 Netbook
Created: 04/04/11
I wanted a lightweight netbook I could just toss in my purse and go. I am a previously satisfied Dell customer, so I sought out a Dell netbook. I love my little Mini 10 netbook. It is just what I wanted and works like a charm. I actually prefer using it to my desktop at home. My only minor complaint is Windows 7, not that it doesn't work. It works; but in some aspects is poorly designed. Would I recommend this computer to someone else? You betcha!

I'm a tech freak from when 200MB and FOS was the "WOW" of the times. I've owned several laptops but we aren't reviewing what has been trashed. I bought thismini 10 because of it's size, weight and what surprised me was the speed.I'm using it basically as a diagnostic tool forthe newer vehicles. It's Light and easy to have and handle in small areas. The finish is excellent, easy to keep clean and! It looks good. Battery life gives you plenty of time to get things done. Hving an external CD player is no problem. Having one is virtually a mustbut, with a little foresight all that a person needs to beis load before you go. Portability would really be convenient for those needing to do reports and other admin projects. All of the features justify the lack of the cd drive. If you need, pick one up. They are reasonably compact and inexpensive since it isn't an everyday use item.It will probably be misse very litle. One very important issue is Support and Dell is on top of that subject.I jumped on a 600.00 dollar good deal from Averatec, no support, factory or otherwise, So, It's now buried 20' in the landfill. This netbook is the cats meow and shows every bit of it.Cost included. Big screen laptops have gone beyond being practicle.Companies that issue laptops to employees should really consider these units or at least put a couple in the field.I'm confident they would be appreciated. There is no magic in the higher priced units. I do not work for or with Dell in anyway.I work for myself and Dell is a tool I appreciate. O, one more thing, They netbooks a not as pictured. They aare closer tosquare in dimension, not rectangular. Easier to put in a briefcase.

I purchased this product to have access to information om-the-go. Yes we have cell phones, but I personally find a laptop easier. I love everything about this product. I have 4 dell inspiron laptops. One for everything that goes on in my life, business, play, accounting, continuing education....I really haven't found anything that I dislike about this item.
I've owned several computers, and in my opinion, Dell, by far is the best!!!

Dell Mini 10

I bought this as a gift for my Dad, and my wife liked it so much, I may have to buy another. The only problem I had was when I upgraded to Windows 7 Pro, I lost all the drivers, and without the name of the previous owner, tech support wouldn't talk to me. No CD/DVD is a little bit of a pain, but helps keep the device small, and a thumb drive works fine. I prefer this to any web book I've seen.

Dell Mini for School
Created: 03/07/11
I bought my pink Dell Mini about two months ago, and thus far love it! I decided to buy one for school. It is light weight, fits easily into my backpack, and the battery life is about five hours. The dell mini is ideal for taking notes and doing research on the internet. It also works well with Skype. My only complaint is that although it comes with a version of microsoft, it saves in a default format that other people cannot open. If I want to email anything I have to make sure I save in Word 2007. Despite that, the positives far outweight the negative and I would buy it again in a heartbeat!
