Dell Latitude D610 Laptop/Notebook

This laptop is a great little laptop for business and students. Light weight and durable. I have used a refurbished Dell 610 for three years and it holds up very well even to excessive use. However when buying a used one be sure that the issue with battery not holding charge is a bad battery and not a motherboard issue that can be costly to repair........Have the problem described thoroughly by the seller. The d600 and d610 are great laptops and they have stood the test of time. I love the Dell d600 and d610 and they are well worth the investment.

I've been a fan of Dell laptops for a long time. This one is a solid build. It lived in my backpack and took a good shock or two every day without harm.

Drives are hot-swappable and can be traded out for a hard drive, An optical drive, or an extra battery.

As of 2011 this is a good computer for school, home administration, watching movies, or surfing the web.
Not so great with new graphics heavy games like the sims3.

Very good basic laptop for my college student daughter. I didn't want a new one because she would be too rough on it. I like that it has a DVD/CD player as opposed to a netbook. Dell laptops are dependable and durable, not to mention affordable. The Latitude series of pc laptops has never let me down. Don't own or use another brand.

this is an awesome starter laptop really pleased with its performance came looking new with windows 7 with 1.25 gig of ram and 40 gb hard drive.I am impressed with the 3 hour battery life and how good of shape it was in i immediately upgraded the cd-rom to a dvd/cd and with a dell this is super easy requiring no real disassembling just push a botton out the new one in and did not even need software just plug and play buy what you want but make mine a dell

First let me say i am a Dell person,so that is why i chose to buy the laptop. It is a decent little machine with a 14.1 inch lcd display-1.6ghz Centrino processor-1gb memory and an 80gb hard drive,and of course a cd/rw-dvd/rom combo drive.I bought this one to resell my Toshiba. This is an excellent laptop for browsing the net,checking email, working with Office Pro 2003 and playing most online games.It is light and the mobile processor doesn't suck the power from the battery all at once.It is a used laptop and i had to install power dvd. I purchased another D610 for my friend with a 2.13ghz Centrino processor-2gb of ram and 80gb hard drive. It is a fast laptop and still doesn't use much power from the battery! I was really impressed with it! So decide what you need a laptop for and then choose what processor,ram and hard drive you want.There are still plenty of these D610's on Ebay!
