This is a good monitor for it's age. I believe that the actual manufacturer of these Dell monitors was Benq, which is a very good company that makes high quality monitors.
Dell LCD 17 in Monitor

This monitor the color is vivid and is easy to adjust. The monitor stands up a little higher than most monitors, it makes it easier to read. The size is good, it does not take up much room on my computer desk. I would recommend the monitor for those who do not have a lot of space.

I bought two, one was a hp monitor for where I work. That was the first one, I liked it so well I wanted one for at home and got rid of the big dell monitor that came years ago with our computor.
So to sum it up they are both nice, easy to look at and not in my face at work like is was before the flat screen. I now have desk top space in front of me at work. At home it is just nice to have the flat screen too. Plus my cat that I inherated kept getting sick on top of the old monitor and I just thought one of these days she going to fry my monitor cause I couldn't clean it in side.!!!!!!
So to sum it up they are both nice, easy to look at and not in my face at work like is was before the flat screen. I now have desk top space in front of me at work.
