The deep bass is more than you would expect from such a small unit. Everything positive that has been written before on this speaker is DITTOed by this consumer. I lve it!
If you want a sub that will produce really low frequencies loudly... than this is the sub you want. Superb sound quality and construction with a beautiful piano black finish. I have (3) Def Tech C/L/R 2300's, (2) BPXs and now the SuperCube 1.
Def Tech rocks!
Wow. I bought the Supercube I to replace an aging PF15 that I've had for 17 years. I am thoroughly satisfied. The price was half of what it originally sold for. Actually $150 less than I paid for the PF15. This unit goes lower, louder and also sounds much tighter, much more detailed. It's even quite a bit smaller but weighs double. Pairs nicely with my BP-20's which are huge. They make two units larger than this one, the Reference and the Trinity and two smaller the Supercube II and III. Though you'd have to have a really big room to need more output than this unit can provide.
The last subwoofer you will ever need for music and movie. Superb sound quality and construction make this sub a dream for any music or moive lovers out there. One more thing: Def Tech support is among the most pleasant people to deal with.
Great Sub, extremely happy with the purchase. This sub has a lot of power and shakes the foundation when a 14 inch sub is going off.
