This sports video game is a compilation of 10 rocking sports including ice hockey, speed skating, mogul skiing, motorcycle road racing, petanque, kendo, and synchronized swimming. This Wii video game can also be played solo as Open Match (single game in one sport), Tournament (single sport in bracket style), Challenge (achieve a goal in any one sport) and Deca League (competing against four teams in all the 10 sports). The Team Editor feature of the Deca Sports 2 allows you to create your own team, complete with their names, colors, their looks, their attributes as well as the team emblem. The Tutorial mode of this sports video game enables you to learn the subtleties of every sport. You can also challenge 2-4 players in local as well as online multiplayer matches of this Wii video game. | |

Deca Sports 2 is better than the original Deca Sports in some aspects, yet worse in others. These are some things that were better-there are 4 different tournaments per sport, each a different difficulty, Local(Easy), National(Medium), Global(Hard), and Legend(Very Hard). Legend Cups are only revealed after you win the Global Cup. The trophies are more detailed, shiny, and realistic. The graphics got an improvement. There is a wider variety of sports, as there are probably a few you've never heard of. "Skill Points" have been added to measure your progress, you get some when you win, and lose some when you lose. Tutorials have been added to help make sure you understand the controls.
Next are some of the things that are worse. The controls are not read very well. For example, Petanque often reads two of the same speed swings and shows two very different results on screen. And the synchronized swimming challenge has trouble reading right swings. A minor thing I didn't like was that they took out practice mode.
Deca Sports 2 also has many great things the original also had. However, there are too many to talk about. Completely worth the money, no matter whether you paid $5 for it here on eBay, or $50 at the store. Its great for the family and friends...Plus its a wi-fi game so play with friends also..Havent played on line yet but getting to that today...But other than that great game...
the 2nd addition to the deca sports series another batch of 10 games to battle it out with friends and family or compete on line some games require nunchuck but all are very fun to play not the most graphic game but still a good buy

The entire game is wonderful. I bought it for my son for Christmas and he wont let anyonelse play any other games.
Its a game the whole family can play. I have 4 kids ages 11,8,6,2 and it brings us all together . . .even the "little one".
