If you like dance games, buy Dance Central, period. Forgo Dance Paradise. I'd rate Dance Central 10 out of 10, while Dance Paradise at 3 out of 10. Why? Alot of reasons...1. inferior menu interface, very crude, bare bones.... 2. very slow loading the song/dance you select...3. no area where you can first learn the choreo for a specific song...4. it expects you to just mirror the movements of the coloured (red, green, yellow or blue) figure avatar that moves down a line towards the front.... 5. if you "win" "pass" the song...you are met with the tinniest "yeahs" from the crowd... lol...it sounds like 5 people yelling "yeah" into a tin can. Talk about low production values!!!
Oh yeah another thing...so you are mirroring the movements of the coloured avatar, your working hard...and then midway through the song, the song stops, and your score is tallied up... that's right you NEVER hear or dance to the entire song. Very annoying.
On the positive side... good songs. The game follows you quite well, so no issues in terms of the kinect/game not following you properly.
And that's about it.
If you love dance, and you want a kinect game that actually has dance in mind please go get yourself Dance Central. Wait for this Dance Paradise to be in the bargain bin, or rent it, and see for yourself.
on this rainy days keeps children active dancing for hours the videos are good i will recomend this game for all ages, is a nice game
I wanted to have a little excercise so i bought this item, it has many songs form different styles and ritms but the songs are not played complete and this was a big turn off for me, the game includes just about 1.30 minute of each song, it takes some time to change to the next song selected, tough it can be very fun if you play with a friend on combat mode. I was expecting something more like "Dance Central" but is a totally different concept.
This game is horrible, nothing like dance central... I totally HATE this game. It's a waste of money, it's got the most stupidest dance moves and is the most boring game ever!! I rather play scrabble. I initially purchased it because of the variety of songs.
This game is kinda weak. The graphics are sub-par, it only plays about 1 minute of the songs, and the gumbie looking dancers are hard to follow.
