Criminal minds first season

I missed the first season of Criminal Minds on tv, as I didn't know how good a show it was. I am a diehard CSI fan,but criminal minds delves deeper into the psychology of the "unsub". I also really like the old team of actors with Mandy Patinkin. They seem like a family, and play off one another well. This is a great set of DVDs. Well worth the price to catch up on the part of the series I missed.

Criminal Minds

Criminal Minds is the best show on TV!! It takes place at Quantico, Virginia and the FBI team goes around the country profiling "unsubs" to try and catch them before they commit more crimes. They try to put themselves in the minds of the bad guys.
This was the first season so if you are watching it on tv now, you will want to see this one for sure!! The cast is great and you can see how they change throughout the season. The main character, played by Many Pankin, is alot like the main guys on all three of the CSI's. He dosent talk much, but always knows what to do somehow. They keep you intrigued though, and the stories they cover are so interesting and not predictable like so many other shows. The last episode is the first part of a 2 episode thriller that drastically affects how the second season is unfolding. This is my new favorite show, others I like are the CSI and Law and Order trilogys. So if you like shows like that or NCIS or 24, you will like this one for sure.

they are extremely funny, and mind blowing! if your a criminal minds fan, you will absolutely love this DVD set! it has special features like meet matthew gray gubler and deleted scenes like Hotch's wife going into labor and so much more! fantastic find!

I love Criminal mind series and even though I've seen the first season on TV, I wanted to buy the season as well.

This is the ONLY show of this kind that I watch.
It's a good mix between characters on the team as well as the serial killers. It places more emphasize on finding the killer than gore. And the humor is not overdone. They always quote a famous person at end of show that is thought provoking at times.

Criminal Minds - The Complete First Season (2006, DVD)

If you have never seen Criminal Minds (CM) from the beginning, I recommend that you DO SO!
Beacause of my work, I never got the chance to see a COMPLETE EPISODE but I could tell this was an AWESOME show and I wanted to see MORE/ALL!
Now, I can and I have not been disappointed!
This DVD has clips of deleted scenes that I like.
It also has a commentary option (who these people are that are commenting I don't know. Even after they stated who they were I still did not know WHO THEY WERE/ARE) which I tried to listen to but after 4 - 7 minutes I was about ready to smack the commentators! B O R I N G!!!
Although I love this DVD, I still feel as if I am missing something in regards to the characters.
They keep referring to "Elle" as if she is a newbie but I have not seen where that is derived from.
The significance of "JJ" in regards to newspaper releases and the media as a whole is still confusing but who knows? Maybe they DO have an FBI agent who does what she does.
I would also like to know who is the Lead of the Team: "Gideon" or "Hotch".
Either way, it is an AWESOME ensemble and I am on my way to purchase the next season.
