I was looking for a cheap, but functable sound card for my 64bit operating system and this was more than I bargained for. The price was right and it does the job, what else could one ask for. Fully satisfied!
I chose this particular card because its technology is still relatively current. I needed a card to replace the functionality lost when the integrated sound application on my motherboard stopped working. The card is functioning as anticipated.
I bought this item and it was so old I couldn t find the drivers for it. I finally figured out how to get them but when I installed them it changed some of my settings, it was weird. Iam not sure why, I got the driver from Creative Labs. I finally pulled the item out of my computer and it is now a paperweight. Buyers Beware
I bought this product for a low budget build and from my past experience with this type of sound card it lived up to my expectations,super sound,low price,far better than onboard sound.
If you you digital out (SPDIF) just make sure you check "digital out only" box in speaker settings to have digital output.
