great action movie

"contagion" follows the rapid progress of a lethal airborne virus that kills within days. as the fast moving epidemic grows, the worldwide medical community races to find a cure and control the panic that spreads faster than the virus itself. at the same time, ordinary people struggle to survive in a society coming apart. i thought this was a great movie with an all star lineup. worth the time to watch.

Contagion is a story more about how we are all part of a social community; that we are all citizens of the world. The movie demonstrates how someone can impact another person on the other side of the world.

The movie is a chilling example of how powerless we are to stop biological diseases, naturally occurring or man-made. The end of mankind may not be the result of war or nuclear weapons, but the unseen, microscopic enemy. We all have a duty to remain vigilant, if we are to survive another 100 years on this small orb called earth.

Great movie!

Movie was well done. Makes you stop and think about all of the things you touch ever day. I can see this being a true life catastrophy some day.

Crummy Movie

No, I would not recommend this product.
Review For: Contagion (DVD, 2012)

This movie tried to get too sophisticated and intriguey which resulted in a convoluted, sometimes confusing plot and also some loose ends that were never tied up at the end of the movie.
Matt Damon was not believable as a person who had just lost a spouse and child. The gratuitous graphic gore scene DID NOT add to the movie and was totally unnecessary.
This was a huge disappointment.
