Excellent player and easy to use

The Coby MP3 is lightweight, holds a ton of music, and is very easy to use. Not real great for holding videos, as it will only play one type, but I dont use it for video so not really a big deal. Some of the features, such as the EQ, take a little bit of trial to find, but overall its a very cool little player

Pros and Cons of Coby Mp620 4GB Video MP3 Player

Pros:
It has 4GB which is enought space for me.

It is small and skinny.

The menues are easy to navagate.

I can put my photos on it by dragging and dropping of copying and pasting the desired photo in the "Photo" file.

I can view TEXT fiels on it, things I've typed up. I have yet to explore this function fully by attempting to put an ebook on it.

I can watch videos on it in WMA format but I have yet to explore this aspect to its fullest.

listening to Music is waht I got it for and it works well for this (Obviously).

It has a "Sleep" timer on it and you can set it for "OFF, 10min,30min,60min or 120min"

I can set the back light to go off in "5 sec,10sec 30sec,60sec,120sec or always on.

it has languages in eglish,french,spanish,portugue​se and german.. thou i doubte i'll use them unles idecide to test myself on how good i've become twith Spanish...

It also has this thing called "Explorere" on it... you can vieew everything you have on it with out connecting it to your computer.

THe raio I wasnt too interasted in because i don't usually listen to the radio but itworks good and its easy to use.


Cons:

The Media Mangage ment program that comes with it was hard to navaget and I stil have not figured it out! But maby thats just me...

I was glad to fing a better way to put mussic videos movies... on it... By copying and pasting or draging and dropping the media into their repective fiels.

Great Design, Sturdy, User-Friendly Player, Excellent Price!

I bought this player for my husband about a year ago. When my Emerson MP3 player died I borrowed his & fell in love with it!
On a normal basis I typically use it for music/podcasts. The option of "now playing" is a great option. It lets you go back & pick up where you left off so you don't have to rewind or fast-forward to where you were last listening. If needed, the fast-forward button works quickly & lets you get to where you need to get to in a hurry. The volume & levels work excellent as far as sound goes.
The 'hold' button locks what you're listening to very well also.
The sleek, slim design makes it easy to carry around & tuck away.
The only problem I've run into is getting an ebook onto it. I've tried the formats listed, but no such luck yet, which was disappointing, but for the price if that's the only negative, it's quite the deal!
I highly recommend this player. My husband uses it daily in a construction-type work atmosphere & it holds up well!
All in all, great user friendly player for the price!

Shockingly happy. Now understand why people say Apple overpriced

Shockingly happy. And that's coming from someone who already has two iTouches and one iPod. This Coby MP 620 is just amazing for the price. And the 8 GB seems to be going further than I expected.

Adding music, video and photo's was very easy and pretty fast. Sound quality is more than adequate. The screen gets the job done for what you will likely use this device for and the battery lasts a long time. I had this thing player for nearly six hours through the amp/speakers on my motorcycle today, and it performed flawlessly. Considering the vibration from the bike at high speeds, I would say this MP3 player passed the extreme endurance test.

Listen, I'm just someone who was looking for an inexpensive alternative while riding the motorcycle. Didn't want to kill another iTouch while getting surprised by a rain storm. What I found in this MP3 is a reliable, feature packed, adequate quality product with an amazing price. For around $25, I may buy four more for gifts and/or personal backup.
