I bought the Coby DVD-207 as an inexpensive backup DVD player that can play discs from all regions, and in both NTSC and PAL formats. It won't get excessive hours of use but it's good for those times when I really need it. My Panasonic DVD recorder/player won't handle discs from anywhere but Region 1 (USA) and won't play PAL discs on my NTSC television. The Coby does, and for a very good price.
However it's discontinued and I don't know for sure that the current, similar-looking Coby DVD player can be set up for multi-region play.
Coby is truly a cheap brand but it has its uses. If your looking for a cheap DVD player that can easily be unlocked to be region free than search no further! You can easily find the unlock code online for this model, and watch all your Japanese and British dvds, sure its not 1080p or doesn't use HDMI, but for $10 bucks what else do you want, and if it gets damaged, who cares, its a coby.
thanks for the product cant we keep youre adress to buy more things from you we are from puerto rico and i want to kwuon if you have something like a portable dvd with screen thanks for the dvd.
I bought the portable DVD player as a Christmas gift for a fellow teacher that needed for his classroom. The whole purchase/payment process was easy! I loved Christmas shopping on Ebay this season and plan on doing it again next year! Thanks EBAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
