the camera is fine for taking pictures to put on e bay. I am havig trouble following the directions for deleting and how to get the flash to work. I feel the pic. would be more vibrant if the flash was working. It is a good camera for what I need it for. I wish I knew how to work it better, confusing with the size of picture to fit the format of a pic needed on ebay.
I wish it just had a book instead of disk to follow. Despite that, it is a good camera for the price
I bought this camera as a spare to carry in my purse for my granddaughter's 4H pictures and Storytime at Library pictures, as my Canon Rebel XS is expensive-not something I want damaged-and too big to carry in my purse. This camera wasn't what I needed, but overall it's not a bad buy. Its price was reasonable, It's lightweight, easy to use. One problem I had was the 2 second time lapse from focus to shutter closing. I'm used to my camera's shutter closing as soon as I snap the picture. i found no way to change the setting. I was also unhappy with the LCD. It was blurry at all times. Yet pictures appeared fine after being downloaded to my pc. Also, I didn't like having to go to the menu every time I wanted to delete a picture or having to move the dial every time I wanted to look at one I'd taken. This camera has 2 modes-macro & landscape, fine for a beginner but not someone used to taking great pictures. The subject is farther away than it looks on LCD or through viewfinder, I noticed. I ended up giving this camera to my 6 year old granddaughter, and it has made a great 2nd camera for her, a promotion from her KidiZoom camera. She can use it easily except for holding it steady the 2 seconds, but she's improving.
This is a cheap very low end camera. Before buying this camera you should save another $20 or $30 and buy a better one. The only good picture it has taken was outside on a bright cloudy day of a landscape. You have to experiment with the settings by taking a number of pictures until you can finally get a good one. Forget indoor shots as the flash makes everything to white no matter how you setup the camera settings. There is also a long delay between the time you push the shutter button until the shutter opens. By the time the picture is taken the subjects have moved making you miss the good shot you wanted.
Very light weight. I wanted something just to have quickly, rather than take time to pull out Olympus E-510. This is really not what I thought it was. When you turn "dials" or push "buttons", they just feel "cheap". Even on auto with default settings, the pictures are dark. I have, to this point, not been able to get a decent picture inside. Outside pictures have just been "ok", nothing I have really wanted to keep.
Someone said this was for "children". Not so. To me, something for a child is "point and shoot", not dealing with settings. Not to mention, children are generally not "easy" with things. I am not at all sure this would last with any rough handling or dropping.
I have been working with photography as a hoby for over 30yrs. So I should have known better than to buy this camera. Even just to "have" for those sudden moments.
Bought this camera for my niece,- who tends to loose things, and the price was right! Best steal for a digital camera. What I didn't expect was for the camera to be a quality product. I was actually amazed by the picture quality resolution for a $29.99 camera! Wonderful pics.
