decent trucker GPS, Voice nav is great, Gr8 Display. Con some bad.routing.

being a tractor trailer driver. I was fed up with my Tom Tom one. So I took the plunge and bought this unit new from a dealer on Ebay. The 7" display is great. It takes a little getting use to moving in and out of my tractors -> my pick/up truck and visa-versa. (The unit is large, and will grow legs if your tractor door isnt locked, for sure...) As far as the operation, its still new to me... The owners manual (quick start guide is lacking excuse of a fold out booklet, but it does get the understanding of operation if you can sit and try the options out.) I was a little disappointed, when I tried it around places I do know, and have gotten trailer in and out of. Cause it didnt pick the shortest "safest route" that I already new... (I was testing it). And when it recalibrated to where I went, it did find the road I needed. However, I was disappointed all over again, when it tried to take me to the 'No Thru Trucks' Of the road I did need, so when I passed on its choice, it kept trying to reroute me down smaller side streets, to get me on the no thru trucks side of the street I needed. Overall, I am not sure if there is any such thing as the perfect trucker GPS. Us as truckers need to use good old fashioned horse sense, to aviod the hazzards of the job. But I wanted a new GPS, this one I got at a fair price, and overall I do like it... I had to be careful with my crappy Tom Tom, and it looks like I will have to be careful driving trailer with this unit too. But I do recommend it, but not at the suggested retail price. Try to find the best deal you can get, or settle for the 5.5 version of this GPS... Which is just as good.

I couldn't imagine driving truck without my Cobra! makes my life easier!

I am a Truck driver. I really like my cobra gps.It is accurate, lets me know about upcoming rest areas, truck stops,borders and speed traps. The only compaint I have is it doesn't come with a detailed operators manual.

Poor Product, No help from Customer Service, Software servers not working!

This product comes only with a quick user guide no detailed instruction manual. The software installed was outdated and I have not been able to update it due to Cobra Software servers being down. I've installed my home address in it and it did not find my address. I am going to have to use my old TomTom until I can figure out this GPS because every address I've put in it says "Truck Route Resticted" even my home which I put in using Longitude and Latitude. My house in across the street from a commercial zone so I know trucks are allowed. I've called Customer Service and they were little help. I guess I'll try it for awhile and if I can't use it I'll try to sell it! If I knew before I purchased it what I know now I would have NOT purchased it. Very Dissapointed!!!

Too much money for too little product features.

Its only an OK gps if u pay less than half price for it. It doesn't have the ability to enter coordinates. It freezes up every so often and has to b restarted. The address directory has a lot to b desired. Nice screen and display is about the only good thing I have to say about it. Plus its loud enough to b heard over a rigs interior noise. Better off buying a Garmin Nuvi.

if your a professional driver,this product is a definate must .

I purchased this product because of the features for the professional driver and the large display.i wasnt disappointed has it all.the only thing i found is its a little hard to use until you get used to it.Im a big fan of cobra products but they get more complicated as they go.
once you get past this curve the 7750 is great.large clear screen ,loud alarm and directions plus if its not enough you can even plug in a speaker to help over power that road noise! The 7750 also highlights your exits on your route wich helps in heavy traffic situations.
All around i like this cobra product the best yet!! yea cobra
