) I have been playing golf for a couple of years and wanted to really work on my scoring game. The only real wedge I had was what looks like a 20 year old Sand Wedge and it plays great. So I had no problem looking at older equipment.
What I found on ebay were some great Cleveland wedges. I bought an older 588 gap and a lob wedge. I took the gap wedge (53 degree Diadic) out today. It took me about 30 to 45 minutes but man was I able to dial in with it. It plays beautifully on the chipping green.
I set myself up with about 30 yards to a pin that had less than 10 feet of green behind it. I never once carried through the green and at the end was landing within a few feet of the hole. The wedge is just so easy to work with. I paid $15.00 plus shipping: the club is worth so much more in terms of how it plays.

I've played golf for 35 years and have always had a terrible short game. If I missed a green, it was guaranteed bogey or worse and typically had to be inside 20 feet to par. Now with this 64 degree wedge, I've got confidence around a green for the first time in my life. You can throw the ball almost all the way to the hole and as long as you keep your head still, it's a pretty good shot. It lands soft and bounces little. Great feeling club. I will never be caught without a Super Lob Wedge in my bag again.

Great wedges, great prices.

I now have a complete set of Cleveland wedges all purchased on eBay. I bought a sand wedge first and after using it I had to have the set.These clubs have a nice balance and feel,very forgiving,and I was able to get these clubs at very affordable prices.I have tried other wedges but Cleveland makes a superior product, the wedges just feel right the first time you use them!

The chrome 588 series has a very versatile sole. It can be ued for high pitches or a longer running approach. I also use this as my sand wedge (because 53* is plenty)
