The Clark Gable Signature Collection is a fine choice for fans of Gable and for those who enjoy classic movies. Six films are in this nicely packaged DVD set: Dancing Lady (1933), China Seas (1935), Wife Versus Secretary (1936), San Francisco (1936), Boom Town (1940), and Mogambo (1953).
While all the pictures in this collection are enjoyable, I particularly liked Clark Gable paired with Spencer Tracy in San Francisco and Boom Town. These two actors work well together and clash in all the right ways to create good drama. Myrna Loy's performance as Clark's wife in Wife Versus Secretary is also delightful.
This set is very good, as are all the Signature Collections. If you like classic movies and Clark Gable, don't hesitate to buy these DVDs.
I just love this Collection because it contains some of my favorite movies by Clark Gable with "Dancing Lady" being my BEST! This is why I bought it-it shows Gable in some of his best acting and got it at a great price too! The pros to buying a set like this is that you beat the price you would pay if you walked into a store and buy these movies individually!
