Its old. It works. Works great for CCNA lab equipment. If you need some inexpensive routers for learning Cisco iOS, get some of these. With a little extra RAM you can be learning to route IPv6 with these. I am studying for CCNA now, but these will likely be used for when I am working towards the CCNP too. I purchased three old routers and two switches for my at home lab. Working with equipment hands-on is really the way to go. If you don't currently work with Cisco devices at your job, you should probably start tinkering with some on your own. Oh yeah, it helps if you've got access to some extra PCs to connect too. At least two/three so you could see how to configure VLANs.

It's old. It works. If you need lab equipment to learn Cisco iOS, this can get you started. Routers like the 2620 should be all you'll need for CCNA. If you will be continuing past CCNA, you may want some more modern routers to learn with. However, if you upgrade the RAM inside this box, you can still get started with IPv6. I
