This movie is probably one Jerry's greatest solo films that he's been in. The fact that he took a well known Fairy Tale and twisted the roles and story around is both sheer genius and extremely difficult if you don't know what you're doing to the last minuet detail. Jerry plays the Cinderella version role, called "Fella" and he's forced to work for his mean step mother and two step brothers. Later he is visited by his Fairy Godfather (No, he is not Italian!) who tells him that he's been chosen by married men everywhere that women shouldn't make their husbands miserable because they couldn't settle for there Prince Charming. Classic movies like this one are a great watch for both those who have seen every Jerry Lewis film, and those that are just getting started. All in all, I believe that films today can never truly beat a well thought out script and story like this one.
I Jerry Lewis. His comedy style and persona on screen,are funny and very imaginable. He does not need make-up or special prop,s, his facial expression,s and voice manipulation, are sure to make anybody,[with a sense of humor],make you laugh.100% a family movie.
Cinderfella is one of my all time favorite Jerry Lewis movies. But then of course I'm a hopeless romantic who enjoys cheesy movies. It really is a wonderful movie.

It's a wonderful family DVD. It's very diffcult to find contemporary movies that can be viewed by parents and kids together. Highly recommended.
