At the time this was origially performed, it was by far the funniest and most revolutionary comedy routine ever. Chris's style has paved the way for comedians like Dave Chapelle and Carlos Mencia. Although Bigger and Blacker has received more mainstream notoriety, Bring the Pain is the ultimate comedy routine and should be purchased by every Chris Rock fan and stand-up enthusiast.
Chris Rock's "Bring The Pain". Profane, satirical and devastatingly funny, this is one of Rock's best performances. With his trademark razor-sharp wit, Rock dissects American's obsession with eating, racial issues, domestic abuse, college and relationships.
I love Chris Rock. He keeps it real even when you don't want to hear it. Bring the Pain is just too funny. I laughed so much my sides were hurting. this is a must get..you will truly enjoy it.
Chris Rock- Bring the Pain has to be hands down the best standup in history! If you have never seen this routine, go out and get it! I have never laughed so hard and it never gets old. Buy it and watch for years to come.
What should I say??? It's Chris Rock! He is one very funny guy and can take everyday life and spin it on stage for one funny show.....I recommend this is a Classic
