Purchased this camera to film golf swing in slow-mo. This camera is the only one that I could find that can accomplish this at this price point. What is different about this camera from newer Casio models at this price point is that, from what I can tell, newer models no longer provide MANUAL control over shutter speed. This is essential for analyzing the golf swing in slow-mo.
I bought this for a xmas present for my husband. He need a camera that you can change the shutter speed manually, to enhance the experience when giving a golf lesson. We were first directed to a newer version of this camera but unfornately when CASIO came out with the new version they eliminated the ability to manually change the shutter speed. Fortunately I was able to still locate a brand new EX-FH100 camera, and I am glad I did, my husband is enjoying the performance and quality of this camera, its light, small and effective when he is playing back a lesson to a student.
This is just an amazing camera for people that play golf. the Camera can take a video of your swing and slow it down to 1,000 frames per second in the correct light or 420 frames in average light. You can see where ou are going well.
