I need this device for electronic medical records. You would need to download both driver & software from scan shell website, use calibration sheet, then you're all set. It works great for insurance cards, credit cards, license, etc. No extra power needed!
We like the device because it saves time you don’t have to get up from the desk and go to the copy machine and scan it into one file then move to the other file it can be scanned directly in the file you need it in.
