A good flash is perfect for compact cameras. There are flashes of adjustable angle (0, 60, 75, 90 degrees) and tele mode-this expands creative potential the camera. Good for travel
-Is not possible to regulate flash power and rotate the flash head.

I use this flash with the Canon G11.

GREAT FLASH FOR CANON 5D AND MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I own two of these units and use them as slaves fired by my St-E2 transmitter on my 5D or T4i for macro photography with great results, emulating the much more expensive macro ring flashes Canon offers. The 5D has no built in flash, so this unit, in my pocket, is just the answer for providing a flash for that camera without lugging a large flash around. Within the limitations of its small power output, it is a superb flash, even has bounce capabilities, but ceiling better be pretty low!

Great smaller flash for the Canon system.

I bought this flash to extend my shooting with the Canon G12. The flash is a simple one that needs no manuals to use. The flash controls are set in the camera menus. It works great for fill and bounce.
Battery life is good, recycle times are fair, and exposure is correct.
I was not able to use the wireless slave option.
This is a small flash that is easy to take anywhere and do a good job.

I am just learning flash photography and didn't want to be carrying something big and heavy (i.e., the more expensive models). My indoor pictures were generally too dark with the on-camera flash unit (Rebel xTi). This flash has made a big difference in the quality of my photos and is not too heavy for me. It's size makes it easy to always carry and it's not as conspicuous at a gathering as a bigger unit would be. It is a solidly built flash and I like that it locks into the camera's shoe mount. I am very happy with this purchase.
