Good camera, the right choice. I recommend.

In my opinion, today the PowerShot SX500 - most running camera for general consumers: films where anything.

its nice camera but picture was really not good quality , i have to return product :(.
i steel has old small camera for $150 and works better like this canon , i also have canon rebel one , its works great but lilbit too big size

This camera seems to have a HUGE appetite for battery
resources!
Although it comes with a rechargeable battery, it really
puts a drain on it in movie mode.
Buyer should have a spare backup battery.

was a xmas gift for our daughter(15YR old )she loves it size,pic quality,video, she is still going thru manual for all options very happy. and i liked the price for a upper tier camera for her to move up from her 150dollar digital camera from 2 yrs ago...
