Takes amazing pictures. Allows you to mess around with color focus, contrast and hues, and the pictures come out great. Its compact enough to go with you anywhere but just the right weight so that you know you purchased a good item and not one that will crack or break easily. The video is awesome, cant get a better point and shot w/stabilization for video.

I couldn't be more pleased. I have grandchildren who never stop for a minute. I get perfect action shots, children running, water in motion. Shots from a plane to land come out clear.
The video is just as great. Picks up conversation in the video clearly.
The camera has come out better than I expected. Family members have been asking what kind of camera I have and it is because of the picture quality.

This is the second or third Canon Elph I have bought to take trail riding in the mountains. They are fantastic little cameras with excellent picture quality and exceptional ease while taking pictures. There is no lag time as you snap, so you get some truly wonderful mountain riding memories.

just purchased this camera and i must say im rather surprised by all the features this little camera packs in. 1080 video recording, great photos and a great portable size. the only thing that kind of bugs me is the camera's shape, and that's more of a personal nuance than a problem. overall this camera is a great value and makes moving pictures and video to your computer a breeze. glad i chose this camera over other similarly priced models!

Takes really bright and clear pictures with nice detail. Fast focus and quick snap response. Amazingly good and usefull digital zoom. Regal look. Easier to hold securly then its elf sd 1400 predecessor. Only down side is some yellow/green cast on indoor closeups particulaty seen in flesh tones if flash is on.
