I had been looking for a good point and shoot for my mom.. I had bought her a couple of other well known brands and have always had problems. but my husband bought mine and I loved it so much I had to have it for her... It is small and compact and will fit in your back pocket or your purse and the quality of pictures is perfect. we bought already own a Canon SLR and knew the quality of a Canon. I will never buy anything else, this is our camera. It is good for a beginner, or an experienced picture taker.. the zoom and focus is great and really easy to use. A must have no matter if you are a teen, mom, or grand mom, you cannot lose. I have since bought my 18 year old and twin 17 year olds one as well and the love it, I guess we are just one big Canon family

Awesome Photo and Video Quality Day or night no difference

This camera is great for video recording. To get better performance you must use a class 10 hdsc card. Flasher works great. Photos are very clean even in the dark. There is few nice Photo effects in camera settings to get photos with special effects. Even if you don't customize settings it will automatically adjust camera settings to match the current light conditions. Video recording is very clear at night but need a little light from another source. Camera is better at normal range but it gets little blur when you zoom full. anyway anyway this is a great camera and i loved it

Great product with $100

Great product with $100. As like most of the other cameras, the pictures at night time is not outstanding, likely due to small flash. But overall, I am pleased with this product.

Awesome product, great value and an excellent little camera for the money!

This is a great little camera, I love the color, and the 5x zoom, it's not professional but it's great for the size and ease to carry around. I love the battery life I get with it, you can take hundreds of pictures before the battery dies. My other camera you could only take about 20 before the battery died. The daytime pictures are clear and detailed. Mine came with a memory stick, little tripod, extra battery, battery charger and more and for the price it was almost a steal rather than a deal.
