Great product for the value. Recommended for beginners.

This is my first dSLR camera. Always wanted to take some controlled pictures rather than depending on luck (for point n' shooters) always.
I bought this one totally relying on reviews from ebay, amazon & some other websites.
So far so good, the camera is serving me way better than any of my PnS cams did. For some experience of what I did with Rebel T3 you could try flickr.com/photos/kiching where I've uploaded some photos.
The camera has some wonderful features, such as Digic 4 CMOS sensor, a nice 12.2 Megapixel image resolution. 9 focus points. Most of all I says what it does & does what it said for the price. With EF & EFS lenses avaiable you do have a lot of choices for lenses.

Pros:
1. Cheap price, worthy features.
2. Grips well.
3. Awesome picture quality.
4. Long battery life (Avg 600-700 RAW)
5. Lot of lens options.
6. 3 Exposure Bracketing.
7. HD Video (720p) capable.

Cons:
1. Image resolution could be higher.
2. Plastic body(well this is where Canon saved me a lotta money tho)
3. No wireless capability (Flash or photo shoot)
4. No external Mic capable.

Excellent value and performance

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Amazing, simple and affordable. This is and excellent choice for the money. My family reunion pics are professional grade and I'm NOT a pro. Software includes numerous tricks to crop and enhance pics. Top-end quality, expandable with different lenses and produces remarkable images. The IS makes shots clear and sharp.

This camera is amazing! I had been looking to buy it for a while. The picture resolution is great, it has great automatic focus, plenty of options for shooting, and comes with a manual full of suggestions and tutorials. An AWESOME buy!

Excellent combo or price/features. Needed ISO higher than 1600 but wanted a low cost. The T3's 6400 ISO is good enough to take night-time sports games with stadium lights. And, its compact form is great for travel. But, still trying to get use to handling it (vs. my 20D) to avoid accidentally hitting back panel buttons. Disappointed to learn Canon didn't make a battery grip for this. Don't want to try the 3rd party grips. Still, it filled my need.

IT TAKE REAL GOOD QUALITY PICTURES, ANYWHERE FROM STILL SHOT PICTURES FROM MOVING OBJECTS LIKE RACE CARS OR SOMEONE RUNNING IN A RACE. THANKS FOR HAVING A CAMERA THAT WAS BETTER THAN THE AVERAGE CAMERA THAT I HAD BEFORE. THIS CAMERA IS UP THERE WITH THE UPPER CLASS CAMERA IN MY OPINION. THANKS CANDICE
