) An excellent buy. I paid $607 for Canon EOS 600D or T3i or X5 Kiss along with kit lens. This is my first DSLR and very easy to setup and use. watched few learning videos about DSLR basics and my first set of photos came awesome. there are allot of features that you would expect in high end professional DSLRs. picture quality is excellent. in manual mode you can customize each and every bit of settings while it also has auto mode for quick snaps when you dont have time for settings. aperture and shutter modes are great for getting amazing pictures with very few tweaks.

) I saw an advertisement for the camera elsewhere, and decided to see if there was a better deal on ebay and there was, so I bought it. The picture quality is fantastic and it is very easy to learn. The various things like ISO, white balance etc. are very easy to get to. You don't have to go through heaps of menus to find them. There are numerous different lenses which can be used with the camera, which is not overly large for a DSLR. I believe it was deninitely value for money and do not regret the purchase. I am very happy with it.

) I had the 500D before this one and it was great but I really like the swivel screen on this camera. The HD video is also ever better on this model and as usual, photo quality is perfect.

good lens for the price. HD video a bonus. easy to use entry level lens but overall good quality picture
