Canon DC DC320 Camcorder - Black/Silver

This is an adequate small and useful DVD Camcorder...

Over all ez to use, light weight.

With a typical new price of $320 which I feel would probably need to research the current market to see where that stands with the ever changing technologies.

I bought this one almost new for $90 shipped here on eBay so I look at this as a very good buy.

Had I been a purchaser at $320 level I may have looked a little more stringently at the overall purchase.

But I was looking for a true camcorder with all the typical camcorder goodies, the screen, the view finder, the decent zoom, low light level ability, time and date state option, good size lens, and over all solid functionality.

Im pleased and I think it will do an adequate job for what the intended purposes are,and I paid a super fair price!

I purchased this camera on the reputation that Canon has in the camera world. The camera is fine, it takes good video, has a good zoom, but the only complaints that I have are that you cant record video onto the optional memory card, only still pics., and the only way to copy the disc are to use the camera to play, you cant put the disc into your computer, or atleast I havent figured that out. The instruction book doesnt have indepth explanations on this. I also have a Sony Dcr-Dvd 610 that records on disc or memory stick that you can put in the slot in your computer, and it also came with software to work with your videos but the software only works with sony recorded videos, The Sony is camera is much better over all but the Canon is still a good camera, it just needs a few modifications in recording media

I LOVE THE EASE OF THE OPERATING OF THE CAMCORDER, THE TRUE COLORS AND THE CRISP VIDEO, THE LIGHTWEIGHT AND THE SIMPLE DIRECTIONS. IT IS AN AWESOME WAY TO CAPTURE VIDEO, THAN POP IT INTO YOUR DVD PLAYER OR PC AND YOUR DONE.YOU HAVE TO FINALIZE THE DVD BEFORE IT WILL PLAY IN ANY PLAYER.

I "HATE" THAT THE HANDLE OR STRAP IS LOCATED ON TOP OF THE DVD COVER, VERY POOR PLACE FOR THIS AS IT MAKES IT HARD TO ACCESS THE DVD, YOU HAVE TO REALLY WATCH THE COVER ISNT GOING TO BREAK DUE TO THE HANDLE OR THE CARRYING STRAP. I HATE THAT IT DOESN'T COME WITH A MEMORY CARD AT ALL AND UNTIL YOU BUY ONE YOU CAN NOT TEST THE STILL PHOTO PART OF THE CAMCORDER. IN THE DESCRIPTION IT DOESN'T MENTION THAT AT ALL.

I was very pleased to get this camcorder, it is very easy to use and is user friendly, the book that comes with it takes you through each and every step and is easy to follow. the only thing i found wrong is that the mini dvd's are a little expensive, or atleast they are in the small town that i live in! but if your looking for an easy to operate camera at a good price this camera is for you!

This camera was a good bargain, for the price it is very compact and has all available features that is normally found on the larger camcorders. I like it because you can record directly to dvd and/or a memory card.
