) Over the past 40 to 45 years I have owned many, many sets of golf clubs. Beginning with my first set of Spalding irons, Ben Hogan Director irons, Titleist, Wilson Staffs, Ping G5's, etc. I have found two sets of irons that I always go back to when the games on the line: Ping Eye 2 irons, and the Callaway Great Big Bertha irons. If I had to rate the clubs for over all performance, the Great Big Berthas would just nip the Ping Eye 2's. The solid strike of the GBB and larger hitting area would be my club choice, but only by an eyelash over the Ping Eye 2 irons.

) If you are looking for a sand wedge that is easy to hit off the fairway and out of the traps, this Callaway Great Big Bertha is it. The tungsten insert helps produce some great loft on approach shots and you'll be sticking the ball within birdie distance and shaving off strokes.
Was looking for this club for awhile to match up with a 3-to-PW set of Great Big Bertha irons I bought a couple of years ago. Very user-friendly and now all I need to do is locate a gap wedge and/or lob wedge.

) CALLAWAY MADE TUNGSTEN/TITANIUM TOGETHER WHICH I NOTICE IN THE WEDGE HELPS ME PULL THOUGH THE SHOT. I HAVE GOT AT LEAST FROM THIS WEDGE ABOUT 8/10 YARDS MORE DISTANCE. SO I DONT HAVE TO TAKE A FULL SWING TO GET THE SAME SHOT THAT I WOULD TAKE WITH MY X-16 WEDGE. I CANT WAIT TO GET MY FULL SET I BROUGHT ON EBAY

Between the Callaway GBB Tungsten Titaniums and Taylor Mades Burner Bubble 2's, no other irons can compare. The feel is solid and the performance reliable with only a minimal loss of distance on off center hits. The perfect club for mid-handicappers.

The club was a purchased for a friend. He loves it and it also matches his other irons. He has been trying for over a year to find that wedge.
