Good driver overall
Created: 07/04/07
This was Callaway's premiere driver back in 2002. The driver head is 360 cc, which is small by today's standards, but when the ball is hit on the sweet spot, it drives as long as any driver out there. The driver head is carbon composite, so the sound at impact is not the same as titanium drivers, and it takes some getting used to. The original Callaway shaft on this driver is very light, which was a selling point as an ultra-light, high velocity driver, but because of this, the shaft is somewhat fragile and is prone to break (as one did for me). But overall, I've had good luck with the Callaway C4 driver, and give it a good rating because it has performed well for me.

I bought this C4 because I wanted a large head club. I like everything about it, 360cm head and graphite shaft. It's just waht i wanted, I love Callaway Golf Clubs.

Callaway C4 Driver

I bought 2 of these, 9 and 11 degree loft. One as a component (9 degree head only) and the 11 degree was as Callaway made it. Both have regular shafts 45 inches in length. I bought them on some old favorable reviews. Both of these drivers have large sweet spots and will make a satisfying metallic ping when hit there. I am a short hitter, 160 with a 5 iron, but can get the 9 degree over 200 yards carry and roll and the 11 degree a little bit shorter than that.
These can be had for less than 20 dollars and at that price they are a bargain.
I have since bought a Taylor Made 2009 burner and can put it past 220 so I favor it. As a word on the Taylor made they can be bought new for $129 so watch your bidding.

Most underated Callaway driver ever - overall light weight of club increases distance for the average golfer. Also, excellent accuracy.
