I'm not usually a fan of the western genre, but I thought I would give this a try. The story mode (single player) is a lot of fun and has a decent plot. You can choose between Thomas McCall or Ray McCall on most of the missions (some require you to use a certain character). I played through the game as Thomas (completion time: 6h 42m), but had no desire to give it another play-through as Ray. The game just didn't have much replay value for me. The multiplayer is decent, but nothing more. It held my attention for about 30 minutes, while I tried to adapt to a new experience (it's much slower than most shooters).
Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this game. It's worth playing through at least once.
I really enjoyed this game. It has a lot of different types of game elements all throughout the story. One minute you are escorting someone and the next you are dueling with the local gangster. The single player campaign is really fun and entertaining. The graphics are fantastic and the sound is great too. The one thing that bugged me the most about the game is the lack of co-op mode. The whole game you play as either Ray or Thomas. When you choose one person the computer takes over the other. This type of gameplay is just screaming a co-op mode. If you like westerns and you like fps then this game is for you.
AMAZING!!! As soon as i poped the disc in my 360 I fell in love. I've been a long time fan of other westerns like Red Dead Redemption but I always felt that it was missing something, that sort of feeling you get when you win your first duel, or enter your first consentration mode. Also the cooperative play with your brother durring story mode is seemless, kinda like Army of Two but more realistic. The multiplayer is just as perfect, with many gametypes to choose from. All-in-all a Yee-Haw Giddy-up From me.

This Game is Sweeeettt!!!!!!! Graphics are outstanding looks like resident evil 5 graphics but in the old west.weapons are great the story is great and is just a superb game over all! starts during the civil war and goes to post war time in the old west.i give it 5 stars++.if you like first person shooters with a good story the old west or the civil war GET THIS GAME!!!!!!! It Has it ALL!!!!
