Bullets in the Gun - A Sure Shot

Here is the yearly Toby Keith fix for fans out there. Bullets in the Gun is more of the same simple, straightforward message delivered in less than 40 minutes.

Bad cowboy attitude ("Bullets in The Gun"), a lonely and hopeful wanderer ("Somewhere Else"), ordinary country living ("Trailerhood"), jealousy ("Think About You All Of The Time") and love compelling ("Get Out of My Car") themes are found here, along with light ballads such as "In A Couple Of Days" and "Kissin' In The Rain". Altogether, they make a great album that is worth taking a shot at.

Once again, Toby unpretentiously delivered a basic, even repetitive, but yet easily likable piece of music.

Love Toby Keith!

I bought this CD a couple days ago & was hooked the 1st time that I listened to it. I crack up laughing when I hear the 10th track. I know some people might think of it as controversial; I understand that. but I always remember to keep in mind that it's only a song--done T.K. style. as a matter of fact; I crack up laughing when I hear it; along w/ the songs "Trailerhood" "Chug-A-Lug" among others. if you want a good laugh & you're a Toby Keith fan like me; I highly recommend this CD. I'm so glad that I splurged & bought this CD. I know I could've gotten the regular disc instead of the Deluxe Edition; but then I would've missed out on the 4 extra live track; which are a great bonus in my opinion. :)

Shameful

Seems to me that Toby Keith might have accidently been holding a copy of the lyrics from Robert Earl Keen's "Road Goes On Forever" in one hand and a Mont Blanc pen in the other when he wrote "Bullets In The Gun." However, I am sure that any "similarities" are simply coincidental. <wink> Next time just do the right thing and cover the song Toby. Everybody knows that you can't write like Robert anyway.

An excellent Music Collection

Love this new CD by Toby Keith. The man is a country music genious plus his song about getting naked in the truck had me laughing so hard it was crazy. Bought this for Wife for Anniversary. She loves it and him too.

Bullets in the Gun Toby Keith

The title song is HOT. That is the sole reason I bought it. I saw the music video, and although I am not a huge Toby Keith fan, I knew I had to have this song. The rest of the CD was only OK for me, so I probably would have been much better off buying a CD that included the title song as a compilation.
