Very cute. My grandson loved it. Enjoyed the animation and thought the story was good. Makes for fun family time.
The 2cd of the Pixar films.
It is a good film BUT no where near the best of Pixar's films.
You can enjoy it BUT do you need to rewatch soon? Nope. The film does NOT have really any memorable characters, jokes, moments.
Good looking film, blu ray is good for it.
Has some decent extras.
An enjoyable film but as stated above, NOT the best of Pixar's work.
BEWARE of this seller! Buy from a different person! I decided to buy this because the ad said it was a regular dvd that could be listened to in Spanish and it was new. I received a blu ray dvd that could only be listened to in English and was used and scratched. Needless to say, I am very upset and dissappointed and have written a complaint, but the seller is no longer a member?
I like cartoons. This one rides a bit too much on the tacky, cutesy side for me (the little "Princess" ant is cloying) and that is why I graded it as Good rather than Excellent. I like everything else about it though, including that it's really about humans. Trust me, an ant colony would not benefit nor be amused by this film. Humans, on the other hand . . . .
Why did I decide to buy it? Because I wanted to replace my VHS version with something less inclined to disintegrate over time (or get eaten by the tape machine).
Imaginative and beautiful. This classic deserves a spot on your collection. A Bugs Life has a very good message and an exciting adventure!
