Best show on TV, but not the best season.

After Season 1 set up the story and characters, this season is about the characters rising, and not as much story elements are included. Walt and Jesse grow as partners and friends, having to rely on each other to escape from unpredictable situations. Hank rises in the DEA, which leads to possibly exposing Walt's criminal activities. Some new characters are introduced, like Saul, one of my all-time favorite characters, a CRIMINAL lawyer. The second season picks up exactly where Season 1 left off.


With this season, you seem to know that the characters are always going to be fine, where as in season 1, you knew as much as they did: nothing. You were starting off, as were they, in the dangerous drug business. Tough moral decisions, great characters, those are the things that made Breaking Bad- Season 1 incredible, and it hooked me in faster than any other show has. With Season 2, however, I feel that the moral choice was slowly fading away. It's still there, but not nearly as much. They're in the business, and there's no going back. It's fun to see what they do, exciting to see the scenarios they get stuck in, but there's no uncertainty that they'll survive. In season 1, we were on the roller-coaster with Walt and Jesse, but now it seems more like we're watching the roller-coaster from inside the amusement park.


This season sets up the characters, as season 1 set up the story. Season 3 is a blend of both, and if you like this show at all, you'll love season 3. Don't get me wrong, this season is better than any new USA network show out there (except maybe the early seasons of House), but Season 1 might be the best season of any show ever, with Season 3 of Mad Men as its only competition.


Overall, buy this. You'll notice that something is lacking, but you won't be able to put your finger on it, but you'll still love it. Best show on TV, but not the best season of it.


Ah, what am I talking about? Buy it, you'll love it. Everything about the show is spectacular, writing, acting, cinematography, but there's just something missing. I don't know what though.

One of the best shows on television, highly recommended to anyone. Great story and amazing acting, Bryan Cranston really outdoes himself in his emmy winning performance, can't wait to see season three.

I bought the Breaking Bad: The Complete Second Season (DVD, 2010, 4-Disc Set)because it was the Breaking Bad: The Complete Second Season (DVD, 2010, 4-Disc Set) And if you don't know what I mean by that then you're missing out on the best show out there.
I bought it on ebay because I was able to purchase this masterpiece for far below it's actual value.

Awsome show, better than the Movies.

This is a exciting series, I don't like the movies they put out anymore, so it's good to find something as interesting as breaking bad on TV. When you buy the series you don't have to see the commercials.
