The pedal which I bought is the Boss RC-30 Looper and it is wonderful. I can jam with myself! I mean that I can record a rhythm guitar sequence, after that a solo guitar, and after bass guitar and so on. Every one sounding together is very magical!!!
Well! I must say that it is a nice, very nice looper! Of course this is not Rc-30 or Rc -50. But it quite suited me! All i need is Boss RC-20 and nothing else! Everything is inside me and the creativity is too. Thank you, Russel(Ovation guitar player!GOOD LUCK!
I needed a device to help with my composing music.Getting another guitaris to help me was not working since I have a style that I have developed which is hard to teach to another guitarist. This guitar pedal works fine with what I needed and I can save the recordings or edit them.I've used to us a reel-to-reel but found it harder aqnd harder to get reel tapes these days.I've never tried any other pedal for this.So far I am very happy.
I really like this pedal. I only wish I had more time to practice on it and learn how to use it more fluidly so that I could elevate my technique on it. Otherwise, from the little I've read through the manual, it has been pretty easy to pick up on and set loops. I've used it live a few times and have gotten a great response from the full sound it produces.
This looper is awesome... its like jamming with someone else... for anyone that wants to learn leads through jamming with people, you don't need to wait until you can get together with someone, you can be a one man band....
