Movie synopsis
Originally part of the successful Saturday night lineup that included THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW, THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW, and ALL IN THE FAMILY, THE BOB NEWHART SHOW centered on Chicago-based psychiatrist Dr. Robert Hartley (Newhart) and his schoolteacher wife, Emily (Suzanne Pleshette, THE BIRDS). Neighbor Howard Borden (Bill Daily, I DREAM OF JEANNIE) is a divorced pilot, while Bob's old buddy Jerry (Peter Bonerz, FRIENDS) works down the hall from him as an orthodontist. Bob and Jerry's quirky receptionist was Carol Kester (Marcia Wallace), who hosted a long list of even quirkier patients. This collection includes all the episodes from the third season.

Funny, clean humor.

I enjoy the funny, clean humor about this old comedy series. I was a young married person during that time period and my whole family could sit around the tv and not worry about being embarrassed with bad language and sexy situations.

Newhart was classic comedy with great writing, acting, and directing. It will be a major part of my library.

My Dad loved the Bob Newhart Show!

I haven't watched these DVDs yet as I'm giving them to my parents unopened as Christmas presents. I bought Seasons 1 through 4. I'm sure they'll enjoy them and it will bring back fond memories of the 70's.

We love this show. Very Nostalgic and very funny 30 years later. All the characters are wonderful especially Mr. Carlin. Good Comentary
