Good phone can be tempermental, but only happened once or twice, once I rebooted it, it was fine. Over all, I am happy with it. I can have a full screen clock, which is very handy for me. As it has a large screen area, i can read the text's easy as the writeing is a bit larger text. It's not as large and bulky as some blackberry's, just a nice size. The picture quality is also very good and clear. I bought this phone as other family member have blackberry's and I knew their's would not suit me so I searched for one that would.
I would have loved to give this mobile phone 5 stars,But i cannot due to its weird screen set-up.Ive always liked Blackberry mobiles and my daughters also use them for the BBM function. The idea of pressing the glass screen as a button function is very flawed in my opinion as it reacts very slow and trying to text or email is slow and cumbersome. It also means that for any reason the screen gets cracked or damaged,Its game over as phone become in-operable.I'm so glad no other Blackberry has this idea as its not a good selling point.Overall phone pretty, quick in response, has all the normal functions available nowadays on mobiles. If you can get your head around that screen function its a good phone.Thank you
It is a great Blackberry Phone but took a little getting used to as the screen is not a typical touch screen like an iPod, iPhone or the like. The screen gives a little when the phone is in operation (pretty neat I think)kind of like a "double click" concept as if you touch it it is highlighted but light pressure with the touch makes the key execute. Neat feature so you do not touch a key you did not want by mistake. I am still trying to figure out how to lock the screen though ... they could have made that a bit easier to find.
Well the phone is good, but not that user friendly and consumes tons of battery power, keeping you thinking what is draining the battery inspite of minimal usage.
I bought this phone for my sister who lives in a different country where BlackBerry is still an out of the world experience phone.Few days back I bought the BlackBerry but that did not have a wi-fi so I thought what could be similar but with wi-fi?So after a lot of researching and comparing(and also serious bidding I won this phone).I was aware that the phone was not in a good condition cosmetically. It sure was in a mess! The outer screen was dirty. The battery cover was worn out but as described the internal condition was fine.I had a tool box for mobile phones.I sat down with it.Browsed my way through the tutorial on how to dissemble Storm 2 and opened the phone inside out. There was dirt all over.I cleaned it throughly and was successful on putting it all back! This was my first time and I must say I was not that bad after all!I was nervous turning it back on being confident that I have gracefully managed to ruin the phone. To my surprise the phone turned on and its still working fine.I just might have managed to screw up a little bit about the touch bit but still its ok.I'm personally not a great fan of BlackBerry but choosing to buy a second hand Storm 2 is not that bad of an idea.Hence this review was made just to let you guys know that sometimes it's worth taking the risk!!Thank you all.
