Super fast operating system with a touch screen to enhance user experience!

This phone is the ultimate Blackberry phone, which combines a large keypad for people with large fingers...to a touch screen which speeds up many processes that were formerly slow with blackberries (scrolling to name one). The battery life is similar to other Blackberries, and the operating system is stellar, and quick. Overall, this is a nice upgrade to the Blackberry line of phones.

Awesome phone. Don't get me wrong. RIM suck me into awesome new Touch screen phone over an iPhone. The touch screen and the compatibility of a keyboard just blew me away and made me get this sweet new phone. Texting and BBM work great without any problems. The internet browser is updated and works flawlessly. Battery life is not perfect but for a great phone it will get me through a big day.


The 48 buttons work great on the phone and they have a nice grippy plastic feel to them and they just feel overall strong. Strong outercase with a metal rim. If you do get this phone I do recommend you get a case though.

The only thing I would have bad to say about this phone is its camera/video camera. It sucks. Don't get me wrong, it gets the job done, but if you are looking for a camera phone do not get this phone. You can barely zoom in and out with the camera and it can not be reversed (camera always faces out). The video camera on this phone is also very sloppy with out being able to zoom in and out.

Good phone, probably the best by Blackberry so far

I have for some time owned both Blackberries (for work) and iPhones (personal). I used to own a Blackberry Curve which I really liked, very robust phone. The Bold is a better phone overall, much more functional and chic. I was hoping the new touch screen would be similar to the iPhone, which I love. Its good but it not as good as the iPhone. The screen occasionally freezes on me while using the internet browser. Although a real nice feature on this phone, the iPhone touchscreen does feel more responsive and is less forgiving. As a business phone I do however prefer the Bold over the iPhone as it has an excellent keyboard, which is much more functional than the iPhone digital keyboard. Writing emails is a breeze on the Bold. So all in all its a really good phone.

Get manufacture Unlocked phones

It’s a great phone, but has poor battery life.
And the Verizon Unlocked phones bring Blackberry Internet Service configuration challenges.
If you are in a country where there is No Verizon please get the Manufacture Unlocked phones.
The Music and internet speeds on 3G network is super.
The touch and full QWERTY makes the operation easier!

The best BB bold ever created HANDS DOWN!

I've never had another phone other than the iPhone since it's inception and I can easily say that this phone matches up nicely! After apple played another "4g to 4s" stunt rather than bringing out the iPhone 5, I figured its pointless me buying the 4s although I know I wanted a new phone...I decided to go with the BOLD so I can get BBM, and experience what all the hype was about...I definitely won with this device, Its fast, takes VERY nice pictures when there is lots of light...Its smooth and I love the touch screen! The buttons are MUCH softer to type on than any other BB with buttons and it's the ROOMIEST keyboard RIM has ever developed on a smart phone...The phone is also VERY sexy, it's LED keyboard lighting and straight colors attracts me to the phone even more...This is also the first time ever RIM put a actual stainless steel band around a device, before it has always been hard shiny plastic...
