BlackBerry Bold 9000

The Bold is my first smart phone, having used mobile phones for over 10 years. Rather than list what is already in the specs I will share what I like most and use most on this phone.

Mobile Internet: This is a great feature on any smart phone. The screen size and brightness and the easy scroll wheel make navigating sites easy. Also the qwerty keyboard makes it possible to actually type into boxes or searches so as to make the internet accessible.

Not that good

Its a nice phone but the one I got the keys didnt work perfectly well, i tried to confirm after how long its gonna take to get a replacement and couldnt get to the seller cozz of failed mail deliver.as of now am back to my old phone untill I get a better deal.

Great phone, but be careful about application storage.

With this reasonable price, the Blackberry proved to be worth buying because all of it functions: email, 3G, Wifi, office tools, ... and a lot of great applications which can be installed later. The camera-free version is all so suitable for security jobs which does not allow to have a mobile phone with a camera.
The performance (speed) of the phone is considerably good; it has fast wifi download speed (of course cannot be as amazing as Apple's iPods or iPhones)and connection & data transferring between the phone and PC is easier and more flexible, also more flexible in restore & backup settings.
However, one of the biggest limit of the Blackberry phones are their limited memory for storing applications. The Blackberry 9000 only has about 128MB of ROM or something like that which is called "application storage", where you can install applications on it (it's still impossible now to have an application installed on the large built-in 800MB memory or external micro SD card). So, let's imagine after upgrade the phone to OS 5.0 and the core application updates, you only have about 40MB left to select and install all of the other applications, which is a little bit uncomfortable. With the Bold 9630 the application storage is 256 MB and Bold 9650 is 512 MB, which give a lot more convenience to install applications. However, as I said, with the very reasonable price like this, we cannot require more from the Bold 9000. So, I still feel satisfied with my decision to buy it.
