these are open headphones. Anyhow, these are pretty damn amazing. I wear mine for hours and hours and cannot feel a thing. They sound like no other headphones i've tried.. these are my top favorite phones.

Excellent frequency response. Very comfortable to wear for hours. My only complaint is that the midrange seems distant to me. Very happy with the bass response. I use the headphones for mixing purposes and I am able to tell when the bass is not enough and when it's overpowering. It's very hard to find headphones that don't mislead you in the bass response.
