Movie synopsis
BEDAZZLED is a fiery romantic comedy starring Brendan Fraser as Elliot Richards, a bored and boring computer programmer who is in love with Alison Gardner (Frances O'Connor), a lovely coworker who doesn't even know he exists. In a desperate attempt to gain Alison's affections, Brendan naively strikes up a deal with the devil (Elizabeth Hurley), a seductive and wickedly naughty woman who promises Elliot seven wishes in exchange for his soul. The devil does her best to torture Elliot's poor soul, giving him all seven wishes, each of which in some way goes astray. Elliot is in for the ride of his life as the saucy devil transforms him into a Colombian drug lord, a supersensitive pushover, and an NBA star with more brawn than brains as his wishes become manipulated into one outrageous disaster after another. Fraser is an acting tour de force, deftly playing a wide variety of characters using his comic genius and flair for the absurd, while Hurley is at her stylish and seductive best as the haute couture devilish prankster. Together they ignite the screen with wit, charm, and palpable chemistry. Director Harold Ramis (CADDYSHACK, GROUNDHOG DAY) wrote and directed this hilarious remake of the 1967 movie of the same name directed by Stanley Donen that starred Peter Cook, Dudley Moore, Raquel Welch, and Eleanor Bron.

Review For: Bedazzled (DVD, 2001, Special Edition)

If you are looking for a funny movie, this is it. I would not recommend this movie for young children. It's rated PG-13 for some sexual content.

Brendan Fraser plays a computer technician who is a hopeless romantic. He's in love with a woman who doesnt know he exists. He sells his soul to the devil (played by Elizabeth Hurley), for 7 wishes. He uses his wishes to try to win over the woman he loves, but whenever he makes a wish, the devil will ad a twist.

Fun Movie

Review For: Bedazzled (DVD, 2001, Special Edition)

This movie was cute, creative, and fun. It's about a shy and insecure guy who has seven wishes from the devil in exchange for his soul. What he wants most is a girl named Alison. He makes his wishes with disastrously funny results. Brendan Fraser plays the bumbling lovesick Elliot and Elizabeth Hurley is a very hot devil. This film is lots of fun.

Bedazzled

Review For: Bedazzled (DVD, 2001, Special Edition)

A great movie! Fast-moving, funny and wise at the same time, about a young man who sells his soul to the devil in exchange for 7 wishes (in order, he hopes, to get the beauitful Francis O'Connor, in one of them).

Well,fast-moving from the moment that Eliot Richards is turned into a Columbian drug lord. Before that, the movie always seems slow to me although probably that's necessary to set up the basic premise of the movie...

The episode where Eliot wishes to be "the most sensitive man in the world" is just perfect.

a bit bawdy but lots of fun

Review For: Bedazzled (DVD, 2001, Special Edition)

Brandon has the talent to pull off many different characters in the hilarious movie. He sells his soul to the devil to get the girl of his dreams. He has seven wishes but the crafty, sexy devil, played by Elizabeth Hurley tries her hardest to get those wishes not exactly right and Brandon receives more than he bargained for.

Elizabeth Hurley...need I say more

Review For: Bedazzled (DVD, 2001, Special Edition)

Elizabeth Hurley playing the devil? That is great! She gets to change outfits all the time. She like the less evil devil. The kind that most guy's wouldn't mind meeting.

Branden Frasier took second place here. She was the star and it showed. The story line may have been written for him,but she took it home.

The story line is great, and the soundtrack is too.Only has a limited amount od digital effects, and given the time and budget they were great!

If you haven't seen it give it atry. You will really like all the things she puts Brenden Frasiers character through-for love.
