I would not recommend this guide to anyone wishing to price a football card collection of any size. First, this guide has small print, making it difficult to read for any length of time. Secondly, only the main set is priced. The guide contains no pricing for inserts, parallels, promos, etc. The best thing about the guide was it's price, but I guess you get what you pay for.
It has a lot of the prices which is nice. But what about Jersey Football Cards. Hope one day Beckett Official Price Guide for Football card will include thie price to these too.
It is thorough, but it does not list A LOT OF insert cards, and it does not have the 2010 series of cards, EVEN THOUGH IT IS A 2011 EDITION OF THE BOOK..If your an older collector, looking to find the value of your older cards then sure this is your book, but if you are starting a collection now with new cards, this is not the book for you.
I was a little disappointed in the price guide. The first 10 cards I tried to look up were not even in the book. Most of your older cards are there but the majority of newer cards are not. No Classic brand or Player brand. Not near as many that are in the baseball guide.
actually, i think i was looking for something more like the almanac. though this book did give me updated information about certain items i have, it wasn't inclusive enough to help me with about 1/2 of my total collection. it was appropriate for the price, though.
