The Bear Super Kodiak Bow is the cadillac of bows in its day. Fred Bear's personal bow as I recall. The 64 inch bow I bought is wonderfully smooth espeically for those archers with over a 30 inch draw length. the bow just points really well and has no stacking what so ever...I will say it is not a speed burner so if that is what your looking for is a high performance recurve, this is not it. It is a quiet smooth shooting bow which works well both at the range and hunting in the field.
The Bear Super kodiak bow is one special bow. I am 52 years old and have sot one of these since I'm 17. It's quiet,fast,and most of all accurate! This is my 3rd one and the prettiest of the three. I will be shopping for more in the future to collect them.You can't go wrong with a Bear SUPER KODIAK bow.

Ive been avid traditional archer for only a year and it took a year to find the bow that fit me perfectly.The weight the perfect cast for the archer to make the transition from pin and wheel to a stick and string. Absolutely no hand shock with the perfect contoured handle to make the shot every shot.Thank You Fred Bear you live on with the flight of every arrow let loose.
I´m an Austrian collector of bear bows, and also a bow hunter.
This bow is one of the best I tried many Years ago. In Austria it is very difficult to get Bear bows, because there is not really a bow tradition.
Today I would try this bow but it was not possible the string is to short and so I must make one, witch will be the next days.
