That's what you'd want in ANY RPG. I like this because,well, I'm a guy ;)!And what you can do with her is intense.What I don't like is sometimes it's just too much for you to get out of and it's too difficult in MANY places.Other than that it's worth every penny spent.

This game is amazing. As a huge fan of Hideki Kamiya, this game was a lot of fun to play. The moves are stylish and the gameplay is smooth. I enjoyed the fast paced, high action, and waves of enemies that kept coming in this game. never a dull moment in this game. also love how you can work on combos in loading screen and the mini game and mini game type levels are a blast. Super challenging but a game for all skill levels. Made the decision to get this game after having it recommened to me by gamers alike. im into the hack and slash type games and previous to this game, was smashing around games like DMC4 and Ninja Giden. there is nothing about the game i dislike. if anything, maybe it gets too hard on the hardest difficulty =p but some would see that as soemthing favorable. so pick up your copy of the game and go nuts! 10/10

A-Must-Buy

Bayonetta is one of the best action games out there and I being a fan of action games I just loved it. My passion for action games began with devil may cry. As a matter of fact Shinji Mikami the creator of DMC is also the creator of this awesome game. But Bayonetta is an evolution and it takes the "action" genre to levels you can only seen in a high budget Hollywood movie. The gameplay is lighting fast and with a lot of cinematic moves and finishers in my opinion this is the best part of the game. The story it's a bit floppy but not bad. Try not to get into the story too much and just enjoy the awesome gameplay. Another thing that I loved about this game is that is not repetitive. You get a lot of variety on the gameplay and a lot of boss fights that will take your eyes out of the socket. The graphics are sweet and the voice acting is good enough to give the right personality to each character. If you are not a fan of action games this one will introduce you to the bad-ass action games world. A final advice try to pick the X-box 360 version because the PS3 version suffers from very little technical issues.

Fun for all skill levels

This game is fast paced and filled with action. For those that are familiar with these types of action games, you will get used to the fighting system very fast. For those that are new to this genre, there are 2 easy modes that take care of all the complicated timing so that you can just hack and slash through the levels while still performing awesome combos. Great game!

Gorgeous, stylish, entertaining and deliciously unique!

Overall, Bayonetta is gorgeous, stylish, entertaining and deliciously unique. To say that it is my favorite action game yet is an understatement. Kamiya and his team at Platinum Games deserve a round of applause (and perhaps a few platonic hugs) for their incredible work on this project. Bayonetta will remind you how cool videogames can be.

Incredible style mixes with a fantastic backstory. Mildly hampered by low-budget filmstrip cutscenes and a loose plot.

Bayonetta is an extremely good-looking game, both in terms of its art design and visuals.

Irresistible mix of upbeat jazz with intensely serious choirs. Voice acting is a bit campy but still extremely enjoyable.

Bayonetta has one of the best combat systems I've ever experienced. Fluid, fun and unique.
9.5 Lasting Appeal
Bayonetta was designed for multiple playthroughs. Chapters can be replayed at any time upon completion and there's plenty to unlock and purchase even after you've beaten the game.
