this product works great. I have 3 dogs and it has been a really hot dry summer and I use this and have never seen a flea or tick. My dogs go out side ALOT and last year I used a different product and they had fleas here and there, nothing major but this year not a single flea! Last year when I would put the other flea treatment on my dogs would really freak out, but with k9 advantix they are fine when I apply it and I don't have to hunt them down with k9 advantix to apply like I did last year with frontline. It was a job just catching the dogs last year to apply frontline but this year they stand still and let me apply the advantix with out a fight.
I have tried other flea control products but they made my puppy shaky and did nothing to control his itching. My vet prescribed Sentinel but it does not work on adult fleas. Advantix works. It relieved my dog's itching, didn't make him react like he was having a seuzure and there are no fleas coming off his body.
This is heads above all other flea and tic treatments. My dogs and I spend hours and hours in the woods as I'm training for trail running events. I've tried other products only to find tics on my dogs afterwards. Advantix has never let me down. Follow instructions and you will be as pleased as I am...I will be a life long user of Advantix.
I love that it works for fleas, ticks and mosquitoes, and also biting flies. I have two outdoor shepherd mixes, and year after year fleas, and flies would bite them and nothing would give them relief. Ive tried advantage, frontline, even frontline plus, and even flies off and nothing worked. As soon as I tried this I was hooked. It keeps them flea free all month long, and keeps them from getting bit by flies and mosquitoes too! It is a little more pricey, but the quality is well worth it. I wont buy anything but this stuff for my dogs, and they thank me for it!
