Bayer Advantage Flea Control Blue For Dogs Over 55 lb

I love this product! I live down on the gulf coast and it is humid and steaming hot 7-8 months a year. In short, this is a dog and dog owners worst nightmare. Flea season is turning into a year long event down here. Throughout the years I have tried many different products including Frontline (and Frontline plus), Advantix, Capstar, and other highly advertised, vet recommended flea topical treatment products and Advantage simply takes the cake!

For my dog it started working about 12-24 hours after applying it, but thats the point. It really starts working. With Frontline I couldn't really tell if and when it started working or if it ever really did. This product works and it works for the entire month! So you don't have to worry about feeding your dog oral tablets until the month ends or leaving them in pain until its time for them to have another treatment.

Another thing that I like about this product is that it is virtually side effect free. Make sure you ask a vet about your pet but I also have a little chorkie (chihua hua and yorkie) and I was really worried when I first used the green label version of this medicine on him. He was a tiny puppy, but the vet assured me that this was the best treatment for puppies. Chorkies are extrememly susceptible to side effects and at that time he was only 10 weeks old and maybe 4 pds. It worked like a charm and his tail was wagging again the very next day so I ordered this Advantage blue label for my other dog too.

I waited several weeks before writing this review to make sure that this was completely accurate, but I am still extrememly satisfied. Not only do I love advantage but I love the fact that I can get Advantage on ebay. This is the most convenient process I have ever experienced. I can get advantage for a 1/4th of the price I would have paid at the vets office and I don't have to worry about dragging my pets to the vet every month. The only thing I like more than Advantage right now is Ebay. Right about now EBAY Is definately my 2nd Best Friend!

I have 3 dogs of different sizes and two cats. This product works well for all of them (you do have to adjust the volume used per weight).
I like it's versatility in that it can be used for both dogs and cats and also since it is suitable for a large dog, I can use only a small portion for the small dog and it lasts for more treatments.
It is also 100% effective. The protection lasts longer than one month. Usually one application per season is sufficient.

Advantage is a great product. This is my second time buying this flea control for my dog, and it works great. Advantage keep's my dog, and my home flea free and happy. The past two years we spent a few hundred dollars trying to get rid of fleas with no luck, and after one use of Advantage they were gone. I even got my mother-in-law to fall in love with this product.

I love the convenience of once a month spot flea treatments. Have used the Advantage Flea spots for a long time, they are great for ridding the dog of any fleas.

This is a great product. It is easy to use and works very well. Much cheaper buying through ebay than a pet store. I bought this product to use on my cat, yes even though it says for dogs it is the same product used on cats. I just use the doseage amount for the weight of my cat. This product works better than other flea treatments that I have tried. My cat is an indoor/outdoor cat. Also the dog version of this product is waterproof but the cat version is not.
