I like this set better than the origional game. It is condesed to one disc instead of the 5 discs the other game needed. Fun for those who like the forgotten realms series or who like RPG type of games.
It Good. You play good to win game. Only cant be very hard good play fun. You play character to win 1st or high rank in this game. All parts of game to win you must conquer to win, or if you play to enjoy the time. I must have agree with other comment to win very exact. You have my congratulation.
This game is alot of fun to play. I really like the story line. This is a roll playing game where you get to choose your character. It is set in rennisance times.
It's now considered a "classic", but it's still worth it. The Baldur's Gate series is a killer app for virtually any computer RPG or D&D fan. The character's growth in-game is impressive even by today's standards, and for such a massive game it still has replay value simply by party composition and alignment.
*Slight spoiler alert*
Hope you've got patience for starting though, because it takes a while to get a good set of stats in character creation. Trust me, you'll need the edge. And be ready to radically change equipment tactics in Throne of Bhall.
All in all it's something to keep in the library and pull out once in a while as the mood strikes you. I recommend a few mods like the Fixpack and BGT to improve the original and fix a handful of bugs (Nothing killer, but an improvement with no downside I've noticed). 4/5 as is, 5/5 with the proper mods.
Classic games from my youth. Still just as fun as back then, but be warned : there are graphical problems with today's video cards and processors, this game wasn't designed to run on them. Using the in-game "fix" causes the game to lag horribly, so I've decided to put up with the strange black boxes that appear over flying doodads (birds , butterflies and leaping fish) and whenever somethng dies. Still, awesome games.
